Foot Assessment Camp
- Metafix Ortho has planned to organise free awareness sessions in Pune and Satara about the foot problems (Flat feet, High arch, Diabetic/neuropathic foot) in the month of March at various schools and organizations.
- First awareness camp will be held in Satara in association with the local rehabilitation specialists in the city, trying to cover five schools in a second week of March.
- The aim is to create an awareness about flat foot and high arch that may lead to future implications of joint pain (ankle, knee, knee, lower back).
- This pain is usually common among the people suffereing from above problems and is realized on the onset of 30-40 years of age.
- Person with high level of physical activity may experience joint pain at a much younger age.
- The solution to this problem lies in wearing the right footwear and getting orthotic corrections in your footwear from experts.
- This can be diagnosed by using state-of-art technologies in biomechanics,like 3D Scanning and Correction,the digital foot scan mat that allows a static and dynamic diagnosis, allowing to find out the right correction
- 3d printed insoles are often the best solutions as they provide the best custom fit and help reduce the pain to a great extent,or even fully.

Such assessment are usually carried at a cost of 300-1000 INR at clinics in metro cities. Under the camp, the shcool children will be assessed (free of cost) for their foot mechanics.
